• Maintain a research and development activity, aimed at more efficient and more environmentally acceptable technology.
• Include environmental considerations in all investment decisions.

Each Division of the Pittards Group has its own environmental management system and major common initiatives are taken by a cross-Divisional technical team to ensure co-ordinated action and the exchange of experience and best practice.
